The Orangery sculptural sign

This sculptural sign was designed by John McKenna sculpture Ltd and created for the orangery restaurant entrance within the Seamill Hydro hotel spa complex at Seamill, Ayrshire.

The signage was a tri-sided form which is open in the middle and within this space is a styalized Orange tree created from low maintenance durable stainless steel for this marine atmosphere.

It was designed to work as an interesting focal point feature easily seen by driven traffic and pedestrians alike. The whole structure is stainless steel and stands a top of a plinth to a height of 4 meters.

At dusk the sculptural signage lights internally, thereby backlighting the text cut into each face of the sign.
